Who we are

Saoirse Software Limited, company no. 819296, Dublin, Ireland, is responsible for your data on this site. Questions or requests: help@saoirsesoftware.com.

What we receive and why

  • Your PDF — only to fix it, test it and give it back to you.
  • Your email address — only to send you the download link, the price or quote you asked for, and tell you if something goes wrong.
  • Payment — handled by Stripe. We never see your card number.

We use this data because you asked us to do the work (performance of a contract, GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We do not sell it, use it for advertising or keep it for any other purpose.

Artificial intelligence

Every order is processed with AI: an AI model (from Anthropic) reads images of your pages to describe the pictures and to check the layout against the tags. Anthropic processes it for us and may not use it to train its models.

Who else handles your file

  • Hetzner Online (Germany) — our server, where your file is stored while we work on it.
  • GitHub (Microsoft) — the screen reader test runs on a temporary Windows computer from GitHub. Your file reaches it through a single-use link and disappears when that computer shuts down, minutes later.
  • Anthropic — the AI described above.
  • Stripe — the payment.

Some of these companies are based in the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, it does so under the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Your file, the corrected file, the report and your email address are deleted 7 days after your files are ready, or 1 day after the price was shown if you did not order (7 days if you asked us to email you the price or a quote). We keep only an anonymous line (date, number of pages, price) for our accounts, and the payment records that tax law requires.

Your browser

This site does not use cookies or analytics of its own. It stores only your language choice, in your own browser. When you pay, Stripe’s payment form opens inside this page and Stripe may set its own cookies to prevent fraud. The main page loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when that page opens.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format: write to help@saoirsesoftware.com. You can also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
